Keith Noonan, a game attendee, described the scene to the media. Noonan mentioned seeing a group in which it was evident a physical confrontation was unfolding. Other attendees stated that before the physical confrontation, there were verbal exchanges between two groups of fans. Around 11 p.m., another video footage obtained by NBC10 captures a Miami Dolphins' supporter taking a swing at Mooney. The punch landed, and eyewitnesses said Mooney soon after collapsed. He was immediately rushed to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro but was sadly pronounced dead upon arrivalPost this incident, a man in his 30s, distinguished by his salt and pepper beard, was taken into custody by the police.
